I got an estimate for a complete rebuild on a 700r4 for $850 thats with a shift kit and everything i belive. Is this too much or does it sound like a good deal. Several people have said he does good work so im not worried about that.

If he is good then that ain\'t that bad of a price. But you can get a TCI rebuild kit from sumitt for $160 and a b&m shift kit for $31. Have you ever thought of doing it yourself? By the way, what part of N.C are you in?

I\'m in Cleveland County, a small town called Shelby. I don\'t think I could do it my self because I just don\'t have the tools and what not.

I have a couple things for you on that 700R make sure it is a 86 to 93 And you wont have any probs. Also upgrade Everything and put a 9 clutch pack in, Corvette survo, Cavalar band, and a new seperator plate! I also put the transgo stage 3 shift kit in! And a key to getting a 3000 stall converter is to buy a stock Cyclone torqe converter! its $150 +- and it also is a 10\" 3000 stall Dont spend the stupid money they want for the after market!

Sorry so long but you can check out Oregon Performance Transmission on ebay for all your priceing http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif
