Just watched ol Stacey on Trucks drive Copperhead for the first time. Damn, I DO love that truck. Whats your opinion?...

I just saw that too. I was kinda suprised he ran a TH400 with overdrive because Stacy is always talking about how great it is to shift your own gears. That copper head metalic color is awsome on that truck. I would have liked to see hims run slicks, and do a couple 1/4 mile passes. Watching his 300 ft. burn out was just as good though. Seeing that show makes me want to get a 350 in my truck so bad. Some day. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

Gotta make sure to be up tomorrow to see the rerun of it.

ahh good ol copperhead, will be sure to watch spike tv tomorrow to see it on the road... as for shifting gears, you gotta remember most always the vehicles you see being worked on are for customers and not their own(except horsepower tv, they gotta stable of muscle cars each i believe) so most likely the owner of copperhead wanted an auto tranny.

Stacy usually says when he\'s working on other people\'s trucks though. He worked on some womens Yukon and that kids wrangler. He made it very clear these wern\'t the shows trucks. I doubt that copper head was a customer build.

I think this is the first real street truck built on the show. Every thing else was a 4WD project. That is probably why they went with the auto trans. I didn\'t see the whole show -- got dragged back to the shop to work on my son\'s rock crawler. I\'ll watch it tomorrow.

cool truck, but aerospace component drag brakes and a trailer hitch don\'t go well together. he must be a 4wd guy mainly.

That truck is cool, I love that color. Now if we could get him to do a s10 v8 that would be sweet

Yeah, S10v8.com should be in partnership with stacy to have some good advertising while building a killer v8 s10 on the show Trucks. We are big enough to do that i think.

I\'ve been trying to email him, but i cant find his email address. I dont see how he can have a truck show and not do a v8 swap in an s10. and theres SOOO many s10 fans, it would be foolish not to. he did put bags in an s10. but anyone can do that.

i was pumped for copperhead tho, that thing was amazing. went thru gas like you read about tho. I was disappointed that he didnt break out the nitrous. That would have been insane. I love the copperhead. its probably my favorite truck ever. But i cant wait to see the hairy hauler done.. that thing is gonna be MEAN

guys.... way back when Stacey was working on air with Mel.. they did a v8 swap into a new model(98?) used an auto tranny, B&M Hammer shifter..etc etc.. it was fuel injected... So he\'s done the V8 s-10.. just when the show first came on the air...over 5 yrs ago!

The S-Truck they did was a red Extreme with yellow stripes, with an LT1. I remember it was one of the first TRUCKS! I had ever seen.

Copperhead is awesome, great to see it out being put to use.

I too have got to see it in person(SEMA), and WOW!!! Its pristine!

The truck was awesome, but, it would be nice if he\'d show us how to hook up that 572. burn outs are kool, but hookin those ponies up would be real kool, without back halfing it!

i also remember the lt1 extreme s10. that was way back when stacy had a partner. the show is much better with him alone.

this was also back to the time when \"Horsepower tv\" was Hot Rod tv. it is going back a ways
