Does anybody use the slide-a-link bars? How well do they work for you guys? I have seen some pretty impressive launches with them. I am going to try and hook 650 to 700 hp on et streets and was thinking about the slide bars. Eventually with a main girtle and better heads and more boost I will try to hook close to 900 hp. Just wanted to know if these bars are worth the investment or if I should just go with ladder bars.
Thanks

The ladder bar system is no better than a leaf system with slide a links. You can just run a fatter tire if you back half it.

I believe the memeber hairdryer was in the 700 hp range, hooking w/leafs and either caltracs or slide a links, I don\'t remember which. 12\" slick I think. I know it wasn\'t tubbed.
I think was in the 1.40\' 60 ft range, and should have been in the 9\'s

nice. When you say hairdryer do you mean turbo? I would like to check out some other turbo setups. Thats good to know that there are some high horsepower cars running bars successfully. I know that I can fit a tire with a 12\" section. We\'ll see.......thanks guys
