Anyone know if this carb will work?

I email holley about the carb i have.

They told me its 600cfm model 4160 off of a ford 460 marine engine.

can this carb be used on my chevy 355?

What are some specs on the motor? Automatic tranny? or Standard... its probably got vacuum 2ndaries, and a manual choke. What are you using the truck for?

I think the only difference with a ford carb is the kickdown set-up, my 750 is suppose to be for a ford application and all i did was bolt it on and go, i admit i have lots of problems with adjusting it but thats problay just me...lol. A 600 seems awful small for a BB ford.

Well first off my truck is has a beffed up 700r4 in it. Its also a lifted 4x4 so i dont do much racing(yeah right, i still smoke all those imports haha)

I have 3.73 gears and 31\" tires if that matter much.

The biggest question i have is the kickdown cable. Will this work with the TV Cable for a 700r4 or do i need to modify it.

Also the carb was converted to electric choke.
