10 bolt, check to see what gears you have first, I believe you can find out by using the ##\'s found in the glove box. (If they still put them in there.) Or you can use chalk and a jack http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif

In the glove box you should find a sticker that has a bunch of option codes. They will be as follows if you find the sticker
GU4 3.08 ratio
GU5 3.23 ratio
GU6 3.42 ratio
GT4 3.73 ratio
GT5 4.10 ratio
If you can not find the sticker you can call your local dealer and give them the last 8 digits of you V.I.N. and they can tell you what ratio you have.
Hope that helps you.

The 3.73 would be good for stree use if you have an overdrive tranny. If not you\'ll buzz
the motor at about 33-3400 at like 55-60 mph
The 4.10 would be a neck snapper and you would have to have traction bars and/or darn good tires to take advantage of the launches.
You for sure have to have an o/d tranny if you wanted to drive it at all on the highway.
Have fun and good luck.
