New bed?

I need a new bed on my truck.How much does it cost to get a new one through a junkyard?Places around here have a tendence to screw young kids.So I wana have a idea so I cna be better educated.Thanks

hey i posted a link in here about a new bed...didn\'t get to much response. I don\'t know if you already have a bed or not. If you do and all you need is to fix it you can get replacement parts for it. Granted you\'ll need someone to weld em in for ya. I posted in the parts area of this forum for a place you can go to get a free catalog of parts you can get. They have every part of the bed you\'d need

you an usualy get a whole bed waaaaaayyyy cheaper than it would cost for replace\\ment shet metal.. i agree with wickeds10 probably about 300 bucks i used to work in a wrecking yard and we sold them for about 450 canadian

when i was looking one truck parts place wanted 300-800 and they wernt all that nice i did find one at a local junkyard for 250 i used one from a wecked truck i bought it had some damage but it was a sleeper and made money off the parts from the wrected truck so it was actually free i wouldnt pay more than 4 or 5 hundred for a really nice one good luck
