Thats FWD tho.. how would the speedo change if the drive wheels are not on the ground, Or if the car is not in drive for that matter?

Hmmm Geo Metro.....wonder if an old 4.3 pulled from an s10 would fit....hmmmm could make for a crazy ride.....assuming you could drive from the hatchback area to have room for the engine.....

i wonder if that thing even has abs? I\'d be surprised. The thing coudlnt cost more than 8k brand new. So considering the price, I wonder if it had any sort of options at all available.

The odometer does read through the ABS system. When you unplug the Odometer you loose abs, speedometer, and the odometer.

I\'m pretty sure it does have abs. Most if not all cars from the mid90s and up has them standard.

It would be a great little car for gas.

I think ABS is worth it. But you can have a lot more fun with non anti-locks.

I have to say living in Atlanta you learn to love Antilock. Especially when your hauling a trailer. The other thing to is it has saved me from flat spotting my tires lots of times.

You have to remember about brakes. Even though you might be satisfied with it\'s performance. You have to remember the dufus up ahead of you in the BMW with the new state of the art 4wheel disc brakes who suddenly decides to stop at a yellow light. You have to keep up to date with those people.

I know my mom just bought a 04 camry. We chose one with out ABS on purpose. Just for a comuter. 30 mpg in a car that\'s not gutless it is pretty good. I don\'t feel safe with abs. I can\'t really get a good feel for icy roads.

does the rear-wheel abs in our trucks actually work?
