Check this out, my buddy sent me a link to MSN Autos \"Top 10 Gas Guzzlers\" it just so appears there were 13 GMCs / Chevys on that list. (i.e. GMC Sierra / Chevy Silverado) SAME TRUCK different badge.. anyway they had these trucks getting 10city and 13highway MPG.. i said WHOA WHOA this shit is WRONG. I wrote them this email --------------------
Your article on Gas Guzzlers is the worst and most inaccurate piece of shit I\'ve come across on the internet. Either the EPA has it out for GM or they drive with lead feet. My closest friends own Silverado 4x4\'s with 5.3\'s and another with a Tahoe. Those trucks are EASILY getting 15MPG in the city and about 18-20 on the highway. My brother on the other hand who owns an Expedition is lucky if he can 13 or 14 around town. Cross your I\'s and dot your T\'s before you post crap like that again. Ask the EPA to stop testing vehicles in 110 degree weather in the desert with the A/C on HIGH and 4x4 on. I am very disappointed, I understand this info comes from the EPA which is another load of crap who is out to get EVERY SUV and truck on the market. They want everyone driving those piece of junk imports that get 30MPG and can\'t get out of their own way. I\'m mainly upset because of the fact that you would just post that without A) having your OWN numbers to go up against those of the EPA\'s or B) at LEAST having the ##\'s posted by General Motors.
Good Day!

They responded to that saying they would verify the info with the EPA and pull the article in the meantime.. i JUST got another email with a response from them.. here is what it says -----------------------------
Dear Mr. *******
When originally published, our story on the Top Ten Gas Guzzlers inadvertently excluded information that some of the vehicles were ranked by their EPA efficiency rating with E85 fuel (85% Ethanol). We have republished the article noting EPA estimates for both E85 and traditional fuel where applicable. Please look for additional articles on overall fuel efficiency coming soon from MSN Autos, and thank you for your comments.
