Put it in and find out. I didn\'t do hardly any at all.
the lip on the transmission tunnel.
most the mods are needed on the passenger side.

i didn\'t do any.... the only mod i did was moved my steerign column on the firewall over a little bit by drilling new holes in the plate and pushing it over about half an inch

i bent the firewall mating lip in with a BFH and decided if an inch was good one more would not hurt, now my trans tunnel is fully massaged,no difficult bolts to reach anymore,i have my drivetrain as far back as possible

i like how you call it mods haha... i bent up lip and if youre running shortie headers i suggest beating the crap outta the hump at lower passenger side. its right where the header connects to pipe. the flange is really close to firewall even if beat in a little.get a big hammer!

Also it would help to cut the ears off of the transmission on the bottom edge of the bellhousing!

I also massaged the lip in the tranny tunnel and removed the ears on the lower corners of the tranny so that I would have more room for the exhaust and not have to use the BFH to make every thing fit.
Did not have to doing anything to the heater box either.
Did weld and smooth any not needed holes for a better look.
