Ok I have a aftermarket fuil pump that is going to be pushing through 3/8 line to a edelbrock 650 Do I need to set up a return line for that? do I need a regulator and if so what part # and brand? I didnt have a return line on a Dully that I had put a carb on just a regulator! It never seemed to burn he pump but that also doesnt make it right!

Thanxs

aftermarket block pump or electric?? either way for the return line you dont need a return. but if its and electric pump then you will need an adjustable regulator. if its a block pump what brand? the sell them buy pressure. street 5-6psi street/strip 7-9 on the street all you need is 5-7psi depending on how hot the motor is.

The pump is what determins the need for a return line and pressure regulator. I have a electric Carter that is setup for 7.5 PSI without a regulator and does not require a return line. Some pumps require both.

Well this is what the discription says. hope this helps. This is a NEW 140 GPH Fuel pump . it can work on your street strip or all out race motor. With the bypass spring that is installed in the unite from the factory it Flows 115 GPH (free flow) ,Flows 70 GPH at 5 PSI ,Pressure is pre-set at 7 PSI ,Regulator is not required for most applications ,Motor draws only 2 Amps current . With the High pressure spring it Flows 140 GPH (free flow) Flows 120 GPH at 9 PSI Pressure is pre-set at 20 PSI Fuel pressure regulator is required. Motor draws only 6 Amps current So I assume I dont need reagulator nor do I need a Bypass?

Should I take the spring out and get a regulator? would that be better?

Oh ya I hope to be about 350 hp in a 327

So not real big but fun!

says the motor draws current so it is electric then, and 70gph is enough for the 350hp engine.

leave it like it is at 7psi and you will be fine. 5 1/2-6 psi would be alittle better but 7 will still do. no regulator and no return line. good luck.
