hey guys i have a 1990 s10 and the gauges just arent very pretty and i just wanted to know if it was possible to put the older style gauge cluster in my truck w/o major mods or if it would be easier to just make my own gauge cluster...thanks http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

i never heard of it being done but the cabs are the same i believe the mounts are mainly in the same location the main trouble would be the heater controls headlights ect. hooking them up might but fun good luck

The new and old dashes are interchangeable. I just put a newer one in a truck with an older dash. Make sure you get the heater box and cables for the new dash or i dont think it will hook up.

I had already had my dash tweeded before the swap so when I did the new guages we built a new cluster out of aluminum and replaced the stock cluster pretty easily. will post pics soon
