91 camaro RS probebley had a 2 series with like 2.73 gears. if it came with the H.O. 305 then maybe a series 3 with 3.73? its real hard to say? look in the glove box and find the RPO

A 91 RS was a 5.0 TBI most likely, and probably had a 3.08 at best.

yes but some still came with the H.O. motor. i forget the production code but i have casting #\'s because i have an H.O. block from an 87 monte ss and a 1 from a 90 RS.

spacer. call a gear company or summit/jegs tech line and they will tell you exactly what you need.

No.
You can make a 3 series GEAR work with a 2 series CARRIER with a spacer, but not the other way around. If the Camaro has a 2 series case you can add a spacer to use a 3 series gear.

I thought Richmond made 2 seperate gears now. One for the series 2 and one for series 3. Instead of the spacer the extra material was built into the gear or something along those lines. If you look at thier gears they have them listed for a series 2 or series 3 carrier. They run about $12 extra for the series 2 carrier gears. This only applies if you were planning on buying new gears though. If you wanted to take the factory 3:73 and put it in a series 2 carrier then you would need the spacer.
