ok, im going to get a flx 60 efan for my 2.2 this summer. then when i do my v8 swap im going to either use the rad from this site or a 4.3 rad, but i was wondering if the flx 60 would be enough to cool off the v8 as well? it pushes 2800 cfm, and im thinkin i want to drop in a vortec 305.

stay away from a 305.... just talking from experience..... as for how it will cool... i\'d say you will need a bigger fan and the 4.3 rad works quite well

really? whats wrong with the 305? thats what my dad has in his truck(pre vortec) with 111K on it and nothin ever went wrong with his.

305 has about as much power as 4.3 is what i think he was tryin to say- 350 way better!
