I know this is once again another dumb question but I\'m wondering if the flywheel out if my 2.0L 4 cyl mated with the T5 will work with my 350 and NV3500? Anyone have any knowledge on this? If not I would have to buy a different one and I\'m wondering whether to go aluminum or regular steel? I heard aluminum gives insane throttle response but then I\'ve heard steel gives more launching torque because of it\'s inertia.

No to the 1st one and yes to the 2nd one.

The flywheel from the 2.0L will not work on the small block...sorry got to buy a new one.

The steel flywheel will get you out of the whole quicker do to the inertia of the spinng wieght. I think I said that right. Steel would for sure be better on the street.

Good luck on your venture.

If the rings gears are still good, try and get the one from the donor truck. I was using my 4.3 flywheel with my NV when it was behind my small block.

I wouldn\'t go with a lighter one unless you\'ve got a higher reving motor.

there are differnt size flywheels made for small blocks so i dont think a 4 banger would fit

Just make sure you get the correct one if you getting a used one. Older small blocks, until i think 86 or 87 have the 2 peice rear main seal. The bolt pattern is different, and those are internal balance.

Newer ones have a smaller pattern, and are external balance, or I belive neutral balance.

If you have an older motor -86, the 4.3 flywheel won\'t work like I suggested before.
