Valve Covers

I was thinking about using the Comp Cams Polymer valve covers. Just for a different look. I was wondering if anyone has used them and if so are they durable when it comes to heat, cracking, etc. Thanks

a freind of mine has a set i gave him a year in a half ago. they are in an S10 with a V8 and so far so good. they look fine but he hasn\'t had them off since they were put on.
