T56 mounting questions

Hi, I have a 2003 LS6 engine with 11k miles available to me and was curious about mounting a T56 transmission that I also have. The t56 is from an LT1 fbody. What would be involved in making this work?

Selling it and getting one from a matching LS motor.

That really isnt what I wanted to hear. It\'s a stage IV tranny with no miles on it. I lost the paperwork and documentation on it, which would make selling it almost impossible unless i take a HUGE loss. If possible, I\'d rather come up with some way to make it work.

I know if you wanna use a regualar tranny with a LS1 motor, you need a special adapter/spacer for the flywheel.



I know that the LT1 style bellhousing and clutch set up wont\' work. Even if you could adapt the LS1 style bellhousing to that tranny, Id say the input shaft would be too short.
