alright, i am well on my way for scrounging up parts for my swap....i think all i need is a FPR and and reluctor ring setup...and mufflers just to get it running.i bought the max kit and already have the engine and tranny and such....well to my question...will this FPR work with my in tank fuel pump? Ebay FPR (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33555&item=7969800 254&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW)

Yes, that\'s a commonly used FPR. I use is as well with my mechanical pump and works great. I would highly recommend not going with anything cheaper than that... once I used the \"dial\" style regulator that you can pick up at NAPA, and the thing was absolute crap. The pressure indicated by the arrow was nowhere near accurate, and eventually the pressure from the pump actually blew the rubber piece inside (thats supposed to regulate the pressure) out of place and flooded the hell out of my carb.

i have one of those laying around in my garage somewhere. it worked great. i had the stock 13lb in tank pump and it held a steady 6-7lbs. i would suggest mounting this type of regulator close to the tank on the frame rail or somewhere and using a return line.

a set screw. you see the nut and screw on top? well you loosen the nut and run the screw in for more pressure and out for less then tighten the nut so it will hold your setting. but you will need to run a fuel pressure gauge. you can get one of those carb lines with the gauge fitting in it and just keep the gauge under the hood if you dont want to run a big gauge.
