well its time for a 9 inch with the new big block going in and i was wondering what those of you who have 9\'s got them out of or which ones are the best to start with i have no problem narrowing it just wanted something to start with and does anyone know what model fords came with the disc brakes in the rear so i can get me a set thanks for all the help

Look for a 9\" with the big bearings, I dont know what year or vehicle they came in(Probably early 70s F-series trucks)
I dont think any of them will have disc brakes, youll have to add that. Why not just buy a Mosher 12 bolt or Mosher 9\". If you can afford a big block you should have 2k for a dirveline that can hold up to it. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

I love my Currie 9+
It bolted right in and can handle my BBC no problem.

2k is alot for a driveline when i dont have that much in the motor im going small first just to get the bugs worked out then ill throw some serious power her way thanks for the help guys

Look for a Lincoln Versailles, those had the 9 inch with disc brakes.

i got my 9\" built for like 600$, and you can get the brackets and disk brakes pretty cheap as well

I have a disc brake 9\" in the garage now. It is from a Mark V. I have caliper brakets and backing plates, you would need everything else. It has the tapered axle bearings housing ends also. If you are interested, make me an offer.

i would but im still in iraq and it would just be a hassel for me to have my dad deal with it but i do appretiate the offer mzoomora later smooth
