took my dad for a test drive

went for a road worth test drive, ended up at my dads to let it cool off and adjust timing.asked if he wanted to go for a ride and he said sure if you don\'t go fast. we take off and he askes what gear are we in .i tell him high gear , about 30 mph at 2500 rpm with 488 gears. i drove nice and easy idled it basicly until about 1/2 mile from the house.i told him to lean back into the seat and get ready. in 2nd gear rolling around 20 mph i hitt the lunge pedal to 4500 rpm and that 5000 stahl convertor starts to hit. the front end rises to its limits ,felt like at least 6-8 inches. dads hat flew off and he yeild holly shit. i just laughed and smiled with a big shit grinn. this s-10 fills like maybe some 6.80\'s or better in the 1/8 mile
