Isn\'t 1800 hp in an s10 a complete waste...seriously how much of that power are you actually getting to the ground and having it stick? with 1800 hp you\'re gonna spin no matter what you do. wouldn\'t say..7-800hp be 1000 times better because you could actually make traction with it?

Kyle please dont slam someone on this site. for one thing its not cool....now for my mod i think its everything i have done to my truck down to the easiest mod. The only reason for that is. Its been way too long since ive built a hotrod. I just hope it runs and drives as good as it looks.

Are we talking other than drivetrain? Cause of course the V8 would be #1, then the 6 speed, posi rear end etc.

I would have to say the best mod for me would be keeping the 4l60E. I had to buy a TCI controller for it but its awesome to have overdrive. My truck will run in the 12s on a good day and last time I checked, it got 17mpg on the highway. I love it!!!!

Kyle, foxdude\'s S10 DOES hook. Check his 1/4 time. I\'d call 8 seconds flat hooking pretty good. He said he\'s going for 7.80s this year. Check out his pics for a look at the suspension work - it\'s got a crazy looking custom 4 link back half.



My best mod of course, would be the V8. But I\'d say my mighty demon carb was the single best mod I\'ve done so far. It cured so many problems. Once I get the new motor in I\'ll probably say the stroker kit was the best mod.



I actually think my wheels were also a great mod. I think they really make my truck stand out - but they don\'t help for performance, so that probably doesn\'t count.

I think my best mod was the motor , but other than the motor is gonna be taking a set of tail lights off of a 1965 Impala and turning them upside down and putting them on a rool pan of an S-10 to give it a nastalgia look to it....I think that would look cool

I think the Xtreme rims made the biggest overall difference in the looks of my truck. Overall, though, the V8 is the best mod.

using the bumps in my driveway to remove muffler! still haven\'t replaced it yet.

I would have to say cam and converter. I put a crane 250, 260 @ .050 and a 4000 stall converter that footbrakes to 3400. It already had decent heads and 373\'s. When I put the cam and converter in it it was a totally different animal. It was MUCH quicker. Next: DIY twin 66mm turbos for 1100 hp at the wheels at 30 psi. Thank you cheap holset turbos and flipped shortys!
