I am getting ready to go the track this weekend. I have never used the trans. brake and I am a little nervous. do I hold the button and floor it or just give half throttle or what?

I don\'t have a brake but i would think that you could bring the revs to where your converter will let you rev it ie like 4000 or something, and then when your ready flip the brake switch and fry some tires lol.

Your 2 step should have one circut hooked to the tranny button. When you push the button it activates your trans brake and the rpm limiter on one circut of your 2 step. With the button held down you can floor it and it will not rev any higher than whatever rpm module you have in the 2 step. When you let off the button it will disengage reverse in your tranny and shut off the rev limiter and the motor is free to rev at will. I wait untill both cars are staged before I push the putton and bring the revs up. This way if you got some joker taking forever to stage you arent sitting there revin the crap out of it untill he is ready. Your other circut on the 2 step can either be used for your top end rev limiter or you can hook it to your line lock and use it to do your burnouts consistantly at the same rpm every time.

I think the smallest chip I can put in the 2 step is a 3000 and my stall is 3200-3500. I just didnt know if you floor it or not. Hope it hooks

Remember that your convertor will usually stall a little higher with a trans brake. good luck.
