The truck is still rough, but I am getting there. I still have wiring to complete, which includes cleaning up the plug wires.

very nice! what kind of battery hold down is that? I was going to relocate my battery now that I got a tonneau cover and am looking for a good hold down for an optima.
Also, it looks like there are two throttle cables? Do you have cruise control?
Looks real nice, especially after you clean up those wires.

I like theway you hide the cell in the bed! Hiden in the open and perfect placement for weight transfer!

Thanks for the comments. The distributor is a MSD and it is magnetic. It required the ballast and came with it. I bought the battery hold down off eBay. It was around $85 USD including shipping. I polished it and sprayed it with clear. I have a cover for the bed. I think you can see it in one of the pictures on the moped. I am putting it back on. I have the fuel cell vented under the truck with a filter attached. I should not have a problem with vapors that way.

Nice truck! That fuel cell looks Trick. Too bad the tunno covers your great work. How many gallons is it? The ceramic coated Headers look good too. I\'m still trying to save my coins for a set. I\'ve got set of crusty Hedman shorties (with header wrap). Oh well... Keep us posted.

No one has mentioned that I have a circle track fuel cell. I thought Space would catch it. It provides more fuel for the street, yet it is light and I can put just enough in it to run down the track a few times without extra fuel. I don\'t recall how many gallons it is. I know it will hold ten gallons.

Nice job of carving on that radiator support. What is that covering the edges? Looks like just split vacuum hose, but if it is, how do you get it to stay so well. Also what kind of radiator is that?

The rubber around the edge is door trim from Auto Zone. It is the stuff you put on the edge of doors of the car. I think I got the radiator from this site.

very nice, i was going to comment on the cutout for the radiator too, i like that better than cutting a hole for the cap.

Indy very nice truck man. You did a fantastic job on it. Do you mind if i snag your idea for the radiator support??? I think it looks cool as hell that way. Looks like we are both doing pretty close to the same things to our trucks as far as wide skins up front and the batt and cell in the sprayed bed. Congrats man its really lookin good. what siz tires are yourunning up front. If i remember right mine are 235-60-15.

Thanks again. I bought the valve covers from a local speed shop. The wheels and tires I bought on eBay. They are 1996 Corvette wheels, 17x9.5. I have them on 1 1/2 billet spacers. I know a guy that powder coats and I will have him do th erims. I just don\'t know what colr yet. The PVC runs to the larger vacuum port at the base of the carb. I now need to hook up the vacuum canister under the rat nest of wires. The cam I have does not produce enough vacuum quick enough so I needed to add it.
Edit: Take whatever ideas you want. That is the great part of this site.
