I have installed a T5 from a camaro in my truck and the sending unit is not the correct unit. I have a 92 s10 and I need the speedo to work with the factory gauges..... is there another sending uinit I can get that will work for my gauges? I am selling the truck and I have to get this thing working.... please help.

You would need a sending unit from a same or similar year S10. I had the same trouble with my truck. I am going to have to change the tail housing, gear and sender.

There\'s an easy way around it. Cost a little bit, but probably worth it.

Just screw that sucker on and attach the wire

That converter may not work. It looks like it is designed for aftermarket electronic speedos. GM made a few different style electric speedos depending on year and model, they dont interchange. That one is for a square wave signal, which I believe might be a 16 pulse. The factory speedo is probably a 2 pulse, or might be a 40 pulse. The trans I took out of my S10 had the 40t reluctor ring with magnetic pick-up, the trans I am using now has a mechanical drive that converts to electric signal, which I believe is a 4 pulse. My truck originally had the 40 pulse, so I had to get the 40t ring and tail from a 700r4 S10, 93-newer.
