I have determined from all of your replies that it is possible to run a long water pump with a mechanical fan on it (as I had asked about earlier), however, if I do run a long water pump with a mechanical fan, do I have to move the radiator up into where the condenser was? And if so, what kind of modifications need to be made to make it fit there?

some slight cuting and bending should get a radiator moved forward also use a short or no spacer between the pulley anf fan see the faq.section in the gallery there should be some close up pics

i run a long pump with a 1\" spacer and a flexalite plastic flex fan with a 4.3 rad mounted touching the rad suppoert... no cutting at all... i have about 1\" space between the fan and rad like the fan reccomends... it runs 180* all day long and i havn\'t had a problem with the plastic fan yet... and i spin my motor to about 7 grand

For max cooling stayaway from mechancial fans. Get your self a good electric puller (at least a 2000 CFM.) I\'m running a 19\" that I got from BeCool and a long Stewart pump and have no problems here in Vegas. Played the mechanical fan thing for years and had nowhere near the results I have now. I\'ve got some pics..email me if your interested.
