Lost \"power\" to the power windows on my 91 S10. No fuses blown in the fuseblock. Anyone know what to look for and where it\'s located? I\'ve been plagued with little elec probs ever since the conversion. Thanks. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif

Go to a parts store and get a manual. It will have the wiring diagrams for all electrical in the vehicle. From there, I would start at the wire harness, and see if all the wires that should be hot are. If they all are just move to the next spot that would have an affect on them working. Remember to check the switches that way you will know if the switch is bad or if the wiring is bad.

Good luck, electrical problems suck.

Does the window or door locks work on either side?

Its very commman for the wires to break inside the rubber boot that connect the door to the body. Sometimes they willl work if the door is in \"just\" the right spot.

Pull the door panel. Check to see if there is even power to the switch. The window switch works by switching polartity. So power will be ground acording to which direction the window should be traveling in.

Space.

If you are going to get a book make sure it is a \"Chilton\'s\". They are way better than \"Haynes\". They have great diagrams. Chances are if the window will not open the motor has croaked.

I think LMC sells the motors for fairly cheap. But if your going to take the door pannel off you might as well change out some things.
