1994 and newer brake light switch

Can anyone tell me where the brake light switch is for a 94 and newer? I may have taken it out, but don\'t recall seeing one. I am wondering if it is one of the wires coming off the master wire harnes.

mine is on my brake pedal, its got a white-pink-orange-purple wires coming off the swtich. My truck is a 94. It was a 4cyl 5-speed. Not sure if its new enuf to have press the brake pedal in order to start the truck?

Thanks. I am rewiring it and the switch is gone. Is it on the backside of the pedal (closed on) or on the driver side of the pedal (open on)?

Is it mounted on the pedal arm?

its mounted on the petal arm and when you press on the pedal it lets out the little activater thingy between the arm and the rod for the master cylinder to turn on the brake lights
