Clutch advice

Hi, I am just finishing my 99 S10 build. I installed a 96 Camero ss LT1 and the 6sd tranny, I also installed a disc brake rear end with the Posi set up.It has been a long and stressfull build. My question is, I used the slave cyl off the camero and the clutch master cyl off the S10. I mate"d them in the middle. My problem is that the clucth slips on high end revs. I did put a new clutch and pressure and T-O-B at the install time. I have tried to add and take out shims and i'm close but just cant seem to get it right!!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

make sure you bleed the slave cyl. really good,If you using old stuff, the the one of the 2 probs.

More than likely not any of your problems, but did you wipe down the flywheel and pressure plate surfaces with brake cleaner before installation. Also with new stuff you shouldn't have any shims. Did you give your clutch at least 500 miles of break-in before pounding on it? Did you replace you rear main while the flywheel was off? That would kill a clutch quick. Maybe it's just your tires.

Please tell me how you mate'd the camaro slave and s10 clutch master cyl. I'm swapping auto to t56 right now and I'm stuck.
