Rear end codes

By reading through some old post\'s I was able to determine that my gear code is GU6, wich is a 3.42. Next to the GU6 was a G51.(maybe GS1)Does that also tell me something about the rear. Maybe size or limited slip or something. Thank\'s

Special heavy duty springs is what that code is.

BTW, is that front and rear spring\'s?

It should be for the rear springs only. They had 3+1 springs and 4+1 springs. You should have the 4+1 springs.

As for the lowering of your truck you can take the second from the bottom spring out and put the blocks in it. Or leave the springs alone and put the blocks in. Either way you\'ll be just fine. I have the 4+1 springs and it worked out just fine.
